We love mom. :)

Oh we love mom! She does take the best pictures, and is so much fun to hang out with. :) We went to this little park and took a few shots of some of our little fam. How fun!

Our tough little girl.

Our little Payton Emma has had to go to the doctors to get her bili levels checked since the day after she was born. Her little heels look like pin cushions from all the needle pricks. The first 5 or 6 times she screamed until her little voice started giving out. These last few times though she's given out a little whine and then just sat there quietly for the rest of it. She is only 9 days old but she is being such a big girl about all of this and we are so proud of her. :) I took these pictures of her right after her blood was taken and she was just laying there on the table asleep looking so dang adorable and peaceful. Oh and HOORAY for the fact her levels are going down so she doesn't have to go back to the doctors for a week!

I hate jaundice.

Baby girl has jaundice and when her levels hit 13 they put her on 24/7 home phototherapy for 2 days. Two days of not being able to snuggle or love on her except for when we got to take her out to feed her absolutely sucked for all of us. Her bili levels went back down to 12 and they took her off of the lights.. but just a day after that they climed back up to 13.9 and now their at 14.2 :( Shes not back on the lights yet, but the doctor told us to let her get lots of sunlight the next couple of days and we'll see how things go. Cross your fingers and wish us luck.

Bed time.

I swear this little girl has gotten her days and nights mixed up since the get-go!! Even in mommys belly she would sleep all day and kick and play all night.. not much has changed since then. For example right now I'm holding baby girl who is just now falling asleep in my left arm as I'm attempting to write this blog with my right hand.. finally FINALLY she is falling asleep after 3 hours of nursing, diaper changing, and refusing to lay down in her crib. Payton won't sleep in her crib unless she first falls asleep in our bed or my arms, its quite the ordeal to get this little girl to sleep. Luckily however once she does fall asleep she'll let mom get a good 4 or 5 hours of sleep in before she wakes up again. :) I'll tell you this though, no matter how sleep deprived I get, I always cherish the moments I get to spend feeding her or cuddling her whether it be in the middle of the night or in the daytime.. I can never get enough of our little girl. I love her like CRAZY!!

bath time snuggles

Payton doesn't love bath time but she sure doesn't mind being wrapped in a towel and snuggled afterwards. She also loves her cute cute ducky towel. We sure do love our little ducky! :)

Home.

Here are some fun pictures of Payton since she's been home. Not the best quality since the majority of these were taken with my phone, but I never seem to have my camera on hand when these photo-ops. come up. But enjoy! :)
